Trial update: I ran Seri at one AKC trial in August where she got a Novice Standard leg. I had her entered in a few in
September but she's come into season so had to be scratched. She will be coming back out again at Artful Dodgers in October.
Seri showed in about 6 or 7 trials this spring. She got progressively more excited at each, and while she garnered a few legs
here and there, finishing her Starters Gamblers and Pairs titles, she will be taking a temporary hiatus from trialing while
I concentrate on AKC this summer. She will re-emerge in a more serious fashion later in the fall.
Seri was bred by Leslie Whitney of Kerales Farm. Her mother Pearl is a Welsh import from Aled Owen's lines. Her father
is Ali Roukas' "Kid", a son of Gene Sheninger's Yankee and littermate to Bridget McKnight's Kestrel. She is long, lean,
and driven, but also happy, bouncey, and quite silly. She loves to leap straight up in the air and I had to be very careful
about this while she was growing! She is very driven to work with me, but soft enough to take and understand corrections.
Seri has recently begun squealing and barking when I run her agility, a bit of a shock to me as I've never had a dog do this
before! She's also broken several of my admittedly brittle weave poles. This girl has drive coming out the ears!
