Revel was my first Border Collie, and will always hold a special place
in my heart. She was very focused as a young dog, an "old soul" type of dog. She earned her USDAA ADCH in just 12
trials (from Novice to ADCH), just after turing 2 years of age. She has made the USDAA Top Ten lists every year, despite some
years only trialing through 1/2 of the year due to family health issues. She won the World Cynosport Games Grand Prix at 26"
in 2002. She has been in the finals for the USDAA Grand Prix, Steeplechase or the AKC Nationals 6 different
times, placing 2nd in AKC also in 2002. She was retired at 9 years of age due to her wrists, which are bad
due to wearing in the carpal bones and stretched ligaments. She placed 5th in the competitive 16" Perfomance National
Championship and 5th in the Performance Speed Jumping Final at the 2007 World Cynosport Games. Sadly, this was her last appearance
at nationals. She retired from AKC 2 QQ's away from MACH 3. Now that she has completed her Platinum Lifetime
Achievement Award, she has been retired from agility to try to keep her as pain free as possible for her older years.
Revel is now 13 years old and enjoying the new place, going for walks in the big field with us.
